Interviewee: Spasić Momčilo.
Interviewer: Spasic Momcilo! How old are you?
Interviewee: Fifty-eight.
Interviewer: Fifty-eight! Tell me, where did you live before the war?
Interviewee: Before the war I lived in Sredska, Prizren.
Interviewer: Do you still remember the period before the war?
Interviewee: I remember all the periods before the war, from the year ‘99 until now, 2021. We lived well but now, for political reasons, I live in private way for 22 years, since ‘99 onwards until 2021. I have two daughters; I am renting a place in Štrpce, Kosovo normally.
Interviewer: What memories do you carry with you, do you remember anything?
Interviewee: Before the war we lived well with Albanians, and now we live the same, but due to bad conditions and politics and other reasons I cannot return to my birthplace because there is no one there, only me, and I am now here in Štrpce paying for rent, I pay rent for a place and so forth.
Interviewer: Were you forced to leave the house?
Interviewee: No, we all intensively left the village then in 1999.
Interviewer: Okay. Have you tried to go back to where you used to live?
Interviewee: I tried but without success, because there are no people, and only… I educated children here, living under rent, and so on.
Interviewer: Okay, thank you very much Momčilo.
