Interviewer: Kendiza Lala

During the war my little daughter was 8 months old, we were more than 4 families in one house.

4 families which means up to 28 members, yes, I am Roman, it was terrible for us at that time, we were also young and we had small children, and what is important that our children used to drink milk with glasses. We had to run to find who had cows in the houses in order to get milk, of course that it was difficult for the food and drinks, mostly for the men, because we had to go and buy flour, buy food, most of the time they also risked their lives until they found the food. So, I remember when NATO was hitting the Police, as the house was near it, windows were shaking, and that evening we had to leave to go to another neighborhood, and there for the first time my daughter was crying, we heard tanks entering into streets, we heard cars, Police was shouting. We needed to shut the mouth of the child in order to not scream, so that night we stayed in the foreign houses, then we went back to our house, whoever were there was terrified because houses were burning, we saw the smoke, flame.

I recall a moment when a neighbor brought a car in the yard, and as soon as they wanted to escape Police was looking after the cars, and they came, they went to that man and asked for his car, together with that man they came to us in the yard. The most important thing was that they were drinking until they took the car and they were shooting, and in that moment we were very scared, therefore we had to go up to the roofs, even with small children, it was very hard.

I do not know, God helped us, therefore we are still fine. We were not affected in the family, but we got these slight traumas.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
