I was born in Kosovo in 1973 year in the place where I live now, I grew up there, went to school and finished high school, was in the army, and I started my employment on 5th June 1996. I was employed in “Elektro-Privreda”, Serbia, Surface Mine, Dobro Selo. During the war, when there was bombing I was employed, I went to work every day like any other person who has an employment term. It was quite difficult to travel, as there were no means of transport and the state of the war, all of that, but I had to go and it was very dangerous to go, as my work place was more than 30 kilometers far from home. (Translator’s note: text in the min. 0:01:03 is not clear)… when I went to work, I went, I saw everything, and I heard, I went with different means: cars, by walking, by train and by bus, just to get on time in the work. During the war, my uncle’s son died at the end, close to the end of bombing. I watched, when I went to work, I watched people killed in the streets, I watched a fighting between Police and KLA, where I was very close. My family was not endangered at that time and there were no attacks on my family.

During the bombing, in the village where I live, it was multiethnic and is still multiethnic nowadays. We lived as one, thus we were socializing, and we were hanging out as if there was no war at all. There was no strife during the bombing, and after the bombing, when the bombing ended, the story completely changed, where 3 people were kidnapped from the village when KLA came to the village, maltreated us, where Albanians did not want to talk with us after the war. They were strictly…. (End).
